Same except the interviewer was a Johnathan and I feel so bummed I thought it was legit and now I'm back to square one thank God I looked it up first

I suspected this text was a scam and was able to confirm it to be a scam when online scam research revealed the name Kate McCrary with Almirall Pharmaceutical.
It looks like the same name is being used but a different phone number. I’ve seen so many employment scams so it’s habit for me to research before I reply to any text, emails, calls,etc and never answer yes to their questions.

Scammer pretended to be a hiring manager for a pharmaceutical company and sent me front and back copies of a check which I was supposed to mobile deposit into my account and then retain a portion of it and purchase items with the rest of it most likely to benefit him.
