We called "Jay's" cell phone regarding the flyer left on the front door, regarding landscape work. We ordered the Total Solution, which included aerating, dethatching, rake and bag and hydroseeding, includes a free trim and mow, as well as a 30 day follow up visit to check on progress. He way underestimated our yard size, said it was about 1000 sq ft, which it is over 2000, but he said the price was good up to 2000 sq ft. OK, so all in all, we were to pay him 814.00 by check and have it that day after the work was completed. He said that we had to water every day, if it rained we didn't need to, and if it were hot to water twice a day. It mostly rained, but on the days it didn't we watered. After 3-4 weeks, we left a message saying that we did not see any new growth. This was done the very last days of March, so it was still cold, and a few nights of freezing, and even some hail. We waited a few more weeks, and still nothing, I sent him an email and said that there was nothing. His reply was that the weather was warming now, so wait another week or two and it will germinate. Now I'm not a stupid person, I have grown grass many times before myself. If you look on yelp, way down at the bottom for the reviews for this company, you'll see many more people that had the exact same story as I am telling you now. He actually told me that they work hard every day for four months and then spend the rest of the year in Hawaii. hummmmmmm at our expence.
