I bought a dog from a so-called breeder in Northern California. She sent an email asking me to justify why I am deserving of one of her Sir King Charles Spaniel. We we exchanging emails and text messages. Not once did we talk on the phone (1st red flag missed). She said she had a company who would deliver my pet to my doorstep. The company Alpha Pet Delivery contacted me on Sunday after noon to inform me that they would deliver my dog on Monday at 5:30. On Monday morning, I got a call from the courier company that I would have to buy insurance to transport the dog and it would cost $1,250. I asked why they didn’t notify of this charge the day before. They said to read my email and that money would be reimbursed upon delivery. I was still hesitant to send him my money but I wanted nothing from preventing my dog to be deliver that day. I went to my Zelle and typed the amount. I push sent but my bank has a 1k limit a day. I called this company back and they said to send rest on Cashapp. I then called other pet delivery company’s to see this insurance was a must. They all told me I was being scammed. I called them back and told them I would not send money to anyone until they delivered my dog. My dog never came and now the pet breeder stopped responding to my texts. Be carful out there.

My name is *** and I found an add for a Boxer puppy online. I wanted to get the puppy for my husband as a birthday present. I texted the number that was listed and a day later they texted me back. They asked me lots of questions about my home, if I have a vet, any other pets, if im interested in a male of female ext. After my text convo with phone # 949 214-4854 we discussed price and he said that he will have his delivery agency contact me for my address and for payment. The delivery agency is called Alpha Pet Delivery. I received a phone call from a man named Andre Malik Roger and we communicated through text and phone to set up the delivery. We sent him payment through Western Union and i received an email with the delivery schedule informing me that my puppy would be delivered to me the next day at 11:30. The next morning i received a call and texts that there was a problem and the puppy was stuck in Ohio b the crate wasn't approved for the cold and that we had to pay $800 for a crate at the point i called them and agrued with them and told them this is ridiculous you should have let me know this could happen before hand. Then I looked up puppy scams and it said that the crate thing is something to look out for. The company name they use is very similar to a respected company and when i didnt my original research i saw the ScamPulse.com accredited company and thought that was the company i was working with but it isnt.
