After applying for jobs on Indeed, I was contacted by email asking if I would be interested in applying for a Purchasing Manager position. I responded to the email that I would like more information. I was asked a series of questions like my address, if I had ever been convicted of a felony, my phone number, if I had a credit card in my name, and if I had ever filed for bankruptcy. Once I answered those questions, she wanted to set up a time for her to call me to discuss the job. I gave her a date and time. She called at the right time from a New York phone number (718) 355-9260. We discussed that I would be purchasing goods and traveling 30% of the time between vendors. She then sent me an offer of employment, signed by a man named Martin in Also Internationals HR department. I will attach that letter. After I submitted it, I got an email from Laura saying that my first order I was to go and buy tablets and PCs from local vendors and that she would send me FedEx labels for them to send them to a company called CFS Limited in Hong Kong. When I saw this, I told her I couldn’t start until next Monday the 27th of February. I started looking into the company and I found this thread of others that had fallen for this scam.
