I applied for a $30.19/hr remote Data Entry Representative job on Indeed Jobs for a company called TilesInStyle. I got an email from BambooHR the following day about contacting a hiring manager named Mrs. Stacey Mays via Signal Messenger. I did an interview via Signal though text and was told the company was under a different name (Alston Construction) and that I got the job. She explained that I would receive an email containing the letter of employment, directly deposit, and W-4. She also explained that I would get one week of paid training via Zoom with a supervisor as well as payment to purchase equipment through a selected vendor. Unfortunately I didn’t see the warning signs and gave my information to her. I was able to go on the Signal app and delete the documents I sent.
