We were looking into adopting a puppy when I found this site. After they asked for a deposit, I asked if we could send a smaller deposit. When they were more concerned with how I sent it, I decided to check into them. On a website, others had similar experiences, so I’m backing away.

A friend of mine was interested in a Shiba Inu and I was going to surprise her with Milo, the pet a contact of mine said she really wanted. So I inquired about the Shiba Inu, Milo, and found out that the puppy was available. The puppies themselves are on sale for $650, with $150 shipping, which I found strange from the average costs of this breed. They sent an email asking questions to make sure the puppy was going to a good home but before I finished an email I received a text message inquiring me about my interest for the puppy. I was going to purchase the puppy for $800 when my contact let me know that my friend had already impulse purchased the puppy in the morning for half price and the rest for when she receives the puppy. I questioned the person over text who claimed that they remove the puppies from the website right after they are purchased, and they claimed there was a mix up and thought she wanted a puppy named Max, who was never featured on the website as my friend had been planning to make the purchase for a while. After catching their misinformation they claimed that their webmaster didn’t show them how to remove and add puppies to their website and that they weren’t available. The scammer’s grammar also started to change as the conversation continued. My friend had also called them to confirm the details and mentioned that the person she believed she was speaking to, Matthew, had a heavy Indian accent, which was a pretty strange combination. Afterwards she attempted to pay part of the payment through Zelle but the her bank had blocked the payment claiming that the person she was sending it to, Alice, was high risk. Since it wasn’t the full payment she decided to go through and asked the bank to clear it. After receiving the confirmation they let her know that they’ll fly the dog with a nanny to an airport near her that she names and that they would arrive during the next day. They did send pictures and a video of the dog before, but there was no audio and the dog was shaking for some reason. The next day she received an email from a shipping company with a tracking number for the pet, but to confirm the pets existence on the flight she called them. They never picked up the phone at all. After the supposed arrival of pet and pet nanny, the arrangement was to arrive at the airport and pick up the pet after paying the rest of the amount. However, they switched it up and said they would drop off the pet via their home delivery option, which was never mentioned on their website or email. From there she decided that it was no longer something to pursue and that the whole thing was in fact a scam.
