Looked online for Miele Dishwasher Repair. Contacted AM Pro Appliance repair. Told that fee was $250 for visit/repair. "Tech" removed door of dishwasher, declared that the latch was broken, put parts back, and said that he could not accept a credit card for payment. Given cash. No receipt, work order given. Card with "Keven" and the AM Pro logo and phone number left. No one answered number on card. Inadvertantly came upon AM Pro phone again (different #), and was told that it was a legitimate business, no address yet but in Newark area. Told that Keven was out of country, but tech Mikal would be in touch. He called with news that the latch was on order at a cost of $850. Latch listed on Miele site as $8.00. Made contact with Miele. No further contact from AM Pro.
