I have a food truck and I wanted to participate in the Delaware County Performance Charity Car Show. I contacted them, and was told they were not inviting food trucks to participate. However, a week later I received a message through Facebook Messenger from Teresa Lynn saying they were interested in a food truck, and gave me a link to complete a Vendor application through httpss://Google.forms. Once the form was complete, she asked me if I knew the vendor fee, and I asked her to confirm it was for the Delaware county car show. She said it was $100 for the spot, and asked if I had Cashapp, Apple Pay, or Venmo. I told her I had Zelle. She asked if I was working on the payment now. She sent a couple of waving hands saying "Hello". She said her number was 616-929-3137 and to Zelle the money to Kenyon Patterson. Then she told me electricity would be an additional $20, then asked if I was working on the payment now. So I sent her $25 through Zelle, and sent her a screenshot of the payment. She said she was working on it now. Then she said they needed the payment to be sent all at once. She said she would refund the original $125, and I was to send them another Zelle payment of $125 as one payment. She said she would refund it immediately. She asked if I was working on it now. I told her no, I needed the refund first. I didn't get a response. I contacted the Delaware County Performance Charity Car Show and they said they were not inviting food trucks, that they did not have vendor applications, and were sorry I had been trolled on FB.
