Total money lost $500
Type of a scam Online Purchase
My daughter sent her the money. Once the transaction was completed she then sent her the information on the puppy. Around 9p she received a text message from Vision Courier explaining that they needed another $750 to send the puppy and it would be fully refunded once the puppy was delivered to her and their reasoning was the puppy needed a different type of carrier to be flown in. She then contacted me because she couldn't understand why they needed more money. I told to hold off and lets see what they say. They told her again if she wanted the puppy she needs to send the money. I told her to get a hold of her bank right away to stop the transaction of the money but it was to late.
She did file a scam report with her bank and they told her there was nothing they could do so she is now out the $500.00. She spoke to a lawyer and he told her to file it with the FTC and she did. I also tried to contact the woman by phone and text but didnt recieve an answer. I proceeded to inquire about a puppy and the same one Oreo and they sent me an email back saying that all of there puppies are still available. So now with trusting this was a legit place of business my daughter is very upset and out $500.00. I am not sure how to attach the text message to this claim if you need further info I can apply it another way.
