Type of a scam Online Purchase
If you click the website url link, it has a poorly copied amazon logo and says it's a survey, and that you were entered in or won a raffle. It asks some basic shopper experience questions like would you recommend Amazon to others, when was the last time you made a purchase, etc.
Afterwards, it shows you some "comments" from "users" that all have profile pictures and provided pictures of the device they supposedly received. Then they tell you that you just need to give them your personal information and credit card information to pay for shipping and handling.
The phone number is listed below that so I called them to see what other information I could find out. I spoke with a representative and asked about the nature of this offer. Through our discussion the representative stated they are a 3rd party company, but also stated they arent affiliated with Amazon or Apple even though that's what they advertised with this supposed offer. The only thing she would say about what company they ARE is that they are a business called Amazing Pods.
