I made a purchase online for $5.74 on January 24, 2023. Later that month I was charged again by the same company on Janauary 30, 2023 for $67.32. I did not purchase anything else from them besides the purchase on the 24th. I called their customer service on February 20th after noticing the transaction on my bank statement and they explained to me that when I made the purchase on the 24th it automatically enrolled me in a membership savings program with their company that will bill me the monthly price of $67.32. I told them I did not authorize this and to remove me from their membership program. They then supposedly cancelled my membership.
