Received a “gift” from an anonymous sender through Amazon.com. Contacted Amazon, of course they were not able to share who sent it. No suspicious activity on my Amazon.ca account or associated credit cards. Sounds like a “brushing” scam, whereby the seller creates fake orders to boost their ratings.

Hello, I called Amazon, someone is sending me packages, no name, but, compromising my address. They are using their own credit card. Amazon said, don't return the package, you keep them. I tried to return to my Postman, but, there is never a receipt or paperwork in the package. I changed my PW on Amazon. I am going to notify the Post Office too.

I live in a Condo building with multiple units in each building. Every week our building receives Amazon packages addressed to the building with no unit number and the person's name is Choy, or something similar. These people do not live in our development. I have called Amazon and reported this a number of times. I know this is Amazon Brushing there has to be something the company can do. The items received are stylist pens, car cup holders, hair ties, car phone charges, stupid little things. I and my neighbors are tired of it.

Receiving items from Amazon that I did not order. So far there has been a Nerf football, a set of "vanity lights" and a web cam.

They do not show up in my order history or on my credit card. I am currently still trying to investigate if there is an unauthorized credit card opened under my name paying for these or other items.
