Yesterday I was wrongfully banned permanently. I reviewed their rules, and am vehement that I haven't broken their code of conduct, and the reason for my ban was given: Only I wasn't the offending party. I didn't break the rules they themselves state as reason for my ban.
I tried contacting their customer service about the issue, but have only been given links to their appeals system - a system which instantly denied my appeal with no manual review.
Long story short, they revoked my access to their services, a paying customer. They gave reasons for this, but I haven't done anything stated in those reasons. I'm given no option for refund of my purchase, and customer support is not taking my case seriously. On their community boards I'm being censored by their moderation team, so I believe they have a personal vendetta against me.
Their moderation team doesn't have the tools required to enforce their own rules, and as a result I was caught in the crossfire during a community dispute. If the moderation team had the tools they needed, they would very quickly see that I wasn't the offending party to begin with. Nobody at this company is giving my pleas a listen.
So I hope the Better Business Bureau will help me ensure that this company can't take more customer's money without providing the services they paid for. And I hope that this case will help ensure that they create proper regiments for the moderation team such that no innocent player gets wrongfully perpetrated in the future.
