It was a phone call. I answered and they said they were from Amazon. I do not recall all of my words but I said I did not currently have anything on order and hung up. Then I looked up the number and area code. It was Florida and the number brought responses concerning the recording of your voice and a scam where they use your voice to confirm fake contracts.

Caller said they were from Amazon and wanted me to ok a charge of 937.00 for an iPhone order I hung up the phone and called Amazon so they would be aware of this

A robotic voice announced itself as 'from Amazon' and notifying me that a purchase of $1499 for a new mac book was made on my account. I was to 'push 1' to speak to an Amazon representative if this wasn't the case. I recognized this as a scam to gain my information or money so I did not proceed.

I received at least five identical calls from five different local numbers within less than 12 hours.

I have gotten multiple calls from a recording claiming to be Amazon saying a pre-authorized purchase of an iPad or MacBook Pro is in process and to press 1 if it was not me, or something to that effect. It is always a (574) 220-#### number. They started today (6/21) at noon and haven’t stopped. I didn’t press 1, so I’m not sure how the scam works.
