I was tracking a package that was supposed to be delivered to my daughter. I notice that the package stated it was in the Bronx but then sent back to New Jersey. My daughter lives in the Bronx. So, I googled for the amazon number, and I got this number 1-855-840-0699 and called. The person was very helpful that I didn't realize I was being scammed. I told him about the situation with the package and he told me to go to my laptop and download something called ultra viewer and any desk he then asked me for the ID number, so I gave it to him. He then started to control my laptop without my consent. I shut down my laptop immediately. He then continued to speak to me that he would help me to deal with my issue through my chase bank. I was then speaking to someone else who claimed to have worked with chase bank. He told me that he wanted to test my account, so he told me to go to my Zelle and put $900 dollars to this email account Wsw New Inc (929-527-2060) I yelled at the person and immediately hung up. I then called chase fraud which in term took care of my situation. I told the chase customer service person that I felt very stupid. He told me not to think that way. Things like that happen. I felt so vulnerable and distraught. I was fortunate not to send the money to them. The problem is I do not know if I gave my SSN to them. I was recently diagnosed with MS so my mind has not been all there.
