Amazon Prime.com - fake Reports & Reviews (1)

- Clarks Summit, PA, USA

I looked up a number for amazon prime to call about a defective product. The person that answered the phone took all my information and said

he needed my credit card number and needed to access my computer to send me a brand new item and a $100 gift card. After hanging up I called back to amazon and there was a $200 gift card charged to my account. They canceled it and I then called the bank to cancel my card. I

then received a phone call from a person saying they were from Microsoft and that my computer had been compromised twice by out of the country scamers. They wanted to access my computer which I told them I would call back. I then called Microsoft and was told they never initiate a call to anyone. The person kept calling back and I did not answer. He gave the name of Sean Walter, Microsoft ID MS6857 and call back number 1=888=479=5919. I reported this to Microsoft and Amazon. Needless to say I had a lot of anxiety over this and made a stupid mistake giving my info. Don't be fooled by somone like this. The person from Microsoft told me when you want to call someone go to their actual website for a phone number. There are many scammers that list their phone numbers under company names on the internetllll I am willing to discuss this with news media but not to give my identification on news media publicly.
