Told me to get on my computer or phone and download an app-
once i questioned the app she got upset with me. I told her I would call amazon direct and she laughed and said she was from Amazon Security department and I should just talk to her to solve this issue.
When I told her I would be calling Amazon myself, she told me I would be charged for the $700 giftcard if I hung up.
Type of a scam Phishing
Individual stated he was from Amazon Security Department reporting an $1,100 purchase in El Salvador.
He asked me to press 1 to call their office and have the charge removed.
I disconnected the phone at that point.
