I googled the number for Amazon tech support and came across this number. I called it and a man answered claiming to work for amazon. He proceded to ask relevant questions regarding my broken firestick, until he claimed that the account had been hacked and that someone was purchasing items on the account from Chicago. He then instructed me to go to a dollar general to receive a code to proved that i was in Oklahoma and not Chicago. At this point he had already gotten the last four of my credit card as well as other personal information. Im assuming that he needed more information before he could get into my amazon account or my bank account and it was caught just in time.
