Type of a scam Online Purchase
The major portion I was supposed to receive from having two books professionally revised, placed on the market, and marketed never happened. After requesting a refund, Amazon Book Publishing Center tried to talk me into giving them another opportunity. However, after four months of blunders, I requested a refund and was denied. According to the uploaded Refund Policy, Quality Issues, and Technical Errors were reasons for them to refund.
Here what happened
1) Team number # 1 - never got my approval on formatting or advertising trailer for either book.
2) After four months with no product and after I requested another refund, Team # 2 popped on the scene
3) , promising to turn my project around in seven days. This was the same over-promised and under-delivered. Amazon Publishing Center could not format the first book and never got to the second book even started. Below are services listed on the Memorial Day 40 Offer I never received.
• 1) Video Trailers (never approved the first/never saw the second).
• 2) Premium Press Release (I rewrote the press release to try and help them move on),
• 3) Social Media Branding (never got to this one),
• 4) Complete Monthly Content Calendar (never happen},
• 5) Extensive Publishing Upgrade of two books (unable to execute formatting for the market; the book covers were already mine, and the editing was also mine, as noted.
• 6) Custom website redesign (a horrible template website/unable to comprehend or advise on. I requested $300 back. They were supposedly putting the $300 into marketing, which never happened.
• 7) Creation of Google Scholars and white Labeling (never happened),
• 8) Premium ISBN (I had my own ISBN
They did not have the technical skills to produce my books professionally on the market. They accepted my money to do this and then refused to return any of it. The Scam was having me believe they were a part of Amazon, even using their logo. This is what the real Amazon emailed to me...
