The scammer posed as Amazon and told me they were Amazon's Self Publishing Company. They said I could get a discount from $6,000.00 for $4,000.00 for self publishing services including marketing if I paid them within 7 days. I fell for the scam and paid them. All of the people I dealt with had foreign accents and spoke broken English. The first indication that they were fraudulent was when I received edits back that appeared to have been done through AI because they changed a sentence "the women will no longer go back to their abusive boyfriends" to "women should go back to their abusive boyfriends." I approached them about this error and many other sentences that didn't make sense. They sent me a long letter apologizing and attempted more edits. The next round of edits were even worse then the first. I began investigating them and realized they were listed as a fraudulent company on "Writers Beware." I then tried to call them on a Saturday to request my "money back guarantee" in my contract I signed with them and I got what's app dial tone. Since then, I have tried to get my money back and they have dodged me every time, sending me fake invoices, telling me the money was processed, etc. I have placed a fraudulent claim on my credit card, but they continue to say the money was refunded.
