I received a letter from them stating that my account had been placed in collections for a bill that I never received. They had the name of my child’s doctor and the date of service that she was last there back in January. They also had my name, address, DOB and phone number. They tried to get me to make a payment but I informed them I would be contacting the doctor’s office first since I didn’t know what this was for. The doctor’s billing department informed me they didn’t have an account for me in collections and that this isn’t even the collection agency that they do business with. I called the “collection agency” back and informed them that this was a bogus claim. They tried to tell me the doctor’s office would no longer have the info on file since it was sent to collections (bogus). I told them they needed to rescind this or I would report them. They told me they couldn’t do anything until they received notice from the doctor’s office. I told them that was impossible since the doctor’s office doesn’t do business with them. I informed them that I would be reporting them and hung up.
