I got this job from LinkedIn, a remote logistics specialist.
I was told by a person that they liked my resume and am I still interested in a Logistic Specialist job. I said yes and then he said ok we just wanted to know bc we’re only letting our top candidates know. So about two days later, they said they wanted to go forward with my application and I will receive some interview questions. I received the interview questions on 10/31 and they told me to fill it out asap and that could determine they’re pick for the logistics specialist. I answered the questions on 11/1 , about 15 questions on the logistics role, which were hard. I sent in the questions maybe around 3pm and said to myself, ok I will probably not get the job bc some of the questions I couldn’t answer bc I never done it before. The next morning the told me I had gotten the role at which to start making 50.00 an hour during training. The job started with making 114,00 to 180,00, which you can make if you’ve been in the industry a long time, which I had, but to make that much money and not to be a manager was kind of alarming. Also when I didn’t have a face to face interview, or a virtual interview, didn’t seem correct. My instincts told me something is wrong. Especially I’m making over 100,000 and you don’t want to see me? They told me to fill out my address and to sign the documents quickly so I could receive a check to buy equipment.. buy equipment? Another red flag. That’s when I told them I won’t be able to start until the middle of November bc I had a vacation planned. After that , they never responded to my email after a day and that’s when I realized it was a scam. Especially when they were going to send me a check to buy equipment for a home office.
