Caller claimed they were from Ameren Illinois Electric company and we had a past due balance, therefore our electricity would be cut one in one hour if I did not pay the past due $512. I did not pay. I called (the real) Ameren Illinois and found I had a zero account balance, Reported this attempt to Ameren Illinois.
