I needed a loan and had been applying different places. I got a text from advance america with an offer. I contacted them to start the process. First I was told that the loan was approved and of course they needed my bank information. Foolishly I provided this info. Then I was told that because of my credit score they needed to do a verification loan. They deposit money to my account and then I return it to them. With this transaction they will contact the credit agencies of the paid loan and this would raise my credit score. As I started to sound skeptical they even had someone supposedly call from my bank to assure me that this was a legitimate transaction

I saw the money in my account but had second thoughts. Before I attempted to return the money I contacted my bank.

After discussing with them, the bank reversed all the claims. This company has been texting me all morning with threats of legal action if I don't return the money.

Because of my uneasy feeling about the whole situation I didn't lose any money. Just the hassle of changing names and password on my account.

The manager who keeps contacting me from Advance America is Don Watson
