I contacted via text massage from someone claiming to be with American axle & manufacturing after I had applied to a job listing on indeed. they said the hourly pay would be $30 hr with $18 an hr during the training portion. After I had acknowledged my interest I got told to give them my E-Mail for my skype for the interview process, which I was then greeted by a lady named Ann Washington. now this is not a real interview they did not call did not want any video chat it was all done through text messages on skype. After the interview was complete of course they said that I was hired on the spot, she then emailed me a "contract" stating the position and the pay that I was to sign and email back. After that was done she then proceeded to tell me that they where going to send a $4700 check for my supplies, $200 of witch she said was for my sign on bonus. she then told me that I had to send $2000 to one of their venders through zelle for my computer and a couple of other things and then she wanted me to $2500 to another person through cash app. After I had sent the $2000 through zelle I was working on sending the rest through to the person on cash app but it did not work so they wanted me to go to the store and get apple gift cards for the payment that's the moment I realized that I was being scammed and was already out $2000.
