Type of a scam: Charity

They claim to work with Health and Human Services as well as the Department of Treasury to help people pay bills. The government does not have any type of programs like that and certainly not for $*** a person. They send you an invoice with the money you owe the government in taxes on the money and send you an address which is for the IRS, but want you to send a blank money order. The government does not charge any money on a grant that has been approved (I talked to the Treasury Department and HHS) and they don't go through third party websites. They then send out a fake letter from IRS stating that they will freeze your accounts and take your vehicle if the amount isn't paid. IRS and HHS have both been notified through their fraud departments about this. DO not use their website. The address doesn't show up with their name on it when you look up the address. They claim to be non-profit, but IRS does not have them listed on their website. I didn't send any money, I just wish I would have known before I filled out a fake application. I have the letters as well as the emails saved that I have received from them.
