Now - we've received an invoice for $259 for our listing, and it's an automatic renewal on a semi-annual basis. As I never saw one thing on the first mailing about agreeing to these fees, I realized I'd been scammed. Sure enough, a quick google search confirmed that I had fallen prey with many other small businesses. Thankfully, I am my own finance person - so no poor employee will fall for this very legitimate looking invoice and pay my company's hard earned money to scammers.
Research about this has directed me to the ScamPulse.com to complain, and advised to not have any contact with the scammers at all. Beware - you may have employees wanting to help your business succeed - warn them about this.
