BofA Fraud Department Scam

Received text stating there out of state charges pending on the account. Was able to log into the account and Zelle funds out of the account. Scammer was very smooth and slick. Pls keep your guard up!

Received a text asking if we had authorized a charge on our card. We said no and he said he would cancel the cards and FedEx new cards. We verified the numbers, address. Then he asked for our security pin....that is where the red flag was. After that call we called the AmEx number on the back of our cards. They could not find anything on our account regarding these 'fraudulent' charges or any notes on who I spoke with. They immediately cancelled our cards and will send new ones. They also confirmed they don't FedEx out new cards, they come USPS.
