Call answered with an official sounding "American Express offer" when you press "1" a foreign sounding woman asks if you are over 28 - I answered "Yes" immediately transferred to a male foreigner who asked " Who am I speaking with?" - when you say your name the line goes dead.

I had a call this morning from supposedly from American Express claiming they needed information to look up my credit card information. I looked up American Express online and called I spoke to an actual representative and they looked up the number they had no record of the phone number in there system I then called my Hawaii ScamPulse.com and reported them also gave them the number they had been calling from. American Express will not call you for your information is what they said I kind of figured that.

Not sure if this is a phishing scam or a virus attachment. It is directed at a small business in Traverse City, MI.

Below is the copy (message) of the email. There is also an attachment included.
