I was contacted by who i thought was a legitimate Security company on indeed.com. They claimed to be interested in hiring me. They sent me a link to fill out paperwork. Something seemed off but i filled it out. I gave them my social security number and Licence number, and some banking info. They then contacted me and wanted to interview me in person. It started to seem like a scam. Again, something just felt off. They were based in California, but knew nothing about Memphis or Tennessee or any of the laws for security guards. I went to the address i was given for my interview and it was another business that knew nothing about it. Then all the sudden the website and link i was given no longer worked and the phone numbers they gave me were disconnected or went to voicemail. So essentially, i was scammed by impostors who wanted my personal information.
