I get connected to another agent who asks the same questions and then tells me the locksmith will call me in a few minutes to set up the times. He calls me from his cell and says it'll be $250 for a new fob because the one I have is unfixable. I agreed to the price and told him to call me when he was in the area so I could be ready. His ETA was 7:30pm. At 7:20 I get a call from a number that my caller ID reads as "American Locksmith". It's a female agent calling to confirm I still want my fob serviced. I told her yes, I already have it figured out with the tech She then asks me what number he called me from and says she will call him for an update. At 7:25 he calls me to tell me his current job is running late and he is far out from my home so we will need to reschedule for the morning. Then he says he doesn't service my area hardly ever. I said forget it, I will go to a dealership after work. He asks where I work. I say 20mins away. He asks north or south and I say south. He then offers to meet me at work to perform the job. I decline and say I wanted it done tonight but since he cant, and its fine, but I will just go to a dealership after work. He then goes on to tell me to get in my car, exit my cauldesac(I never told him I live in a cauldesac) and meet him at the Walgreens across the road so he can do the job. I said, "you want me to get in my car and drive to Walgreens?" and he goes "yeah, are you not able to do that?" In a rude tone. I say I no longer need his service and hang up. He mentioned he was far out from my home and wasn't in the area often- but he knew I lived in a cauldesac and theres a Walgreens across the street?? I locked my door and stayed in the rest of the night. Creepy.
