I received a letter in the mail posted in Canada #3056996. Letter from American Mega Lottery informed me I won a USA Lottery Sweepstakes Millions Drawing that I never entered. I supposedly won $250,000 but they sent a check to me for $5500 to cover taxes, insurance, handling fees and and shipping. I was instructed to call a claims agent (Mark Terro at 1-289-440-7442) to receive the document to start the claim process. I was given a PIN # TXTO/009PR. My only personal information on the letter was my address. I was to sign the letter once I received the courier company hand delivered check for $250,000. There was a name as Special Conveyance Officer, Bobbi Johnson, Office Registrar.

Contact is made by phone alerting individual they are a winner. Without any other comment, saying "I do not

accept these calls... Please mail the information". Envelope was received without a return address and a cashiers check to pay the taxes on the winnings. A follow-up call was made approximately 1 week later. Same comment made and asked if I received the envelope... commented NO and hung up. The postal validtiaon was from New York however the material inside notes Las Vegas.

I got a letter in the mail which included a cheque from The Northern Trust Company located in Chicago. The cheque was to cover administration fees and taxes. I was instructed to deposit the cheque and was provided a pin number. I was also told to send some of the money via Western Union.
