Got a call from someone stating to be from this police association and asked for donations. i agreed to help because i wanted to help the police. The conversation gave me some red flags because they wanted to know what card i was going to use to donate money and i told them i would not give them that and i can donate how i see fit. wanted me to give them the donation/card info over the phone. i refused. told me they where going to send me a packet with information. i later did research and found out this was a possible scammer.
