American select sent bills to me claiming that they are now billing long distance for Century Link. I fell for it at firs The bill looked legitimate. I contacted Century link who says this company is fraudulently billing us. Payment address lists John Smith Drive in San Antonio Texas but return address on envelope was an address in Michigan.

I recieved a letter from American Select telling me that they are my new long distance carrier and I owe them 134.48. I was perplexed because the telephone company had not contacted me about a new long distance carrier. I have had a land line since 1970's never missed a payment, how can I owe any telephone company any money? I called my local telephone company and explained the letter to the telephone representative. I was told this American Select carrier is not a carrier they use. My long distance carrier has not changed.
