Company called victim and said that the Director had a contract with them and they wanted to know if they should extend it a year or cancel. Contract was for web support (help post business information on the web).
Company mentioned that Director had wanted to cancel services the services and that they need verification. They asked for victims name etc. and to give a yes or no for recording.
Company stated that to cancel the contract, the victims had to provide full payment for whole year of contact for $600.00 & they would send invoice. But, victims had the option to pay over the phone via PayPal for a discount of $100 off the $600 rate totalling $500.
Victim verified with Director and said no.
