I was contacted via email about a job offer as an administrative assistant. I was to work from home, and receive $40.17 per hour after a paid training session. I was to be paid $19 per hour for training. The interview was held via a Google Hangouts with Mary. I was hired after a 15 minute interview "chat". The following day, I was put in touch with my "training supervisor" Chris Robert (Email: [email protected]). He and I communicated solely through Google Hangouts as well. The third day, I was given a tracking number for a package sent via FedEx from Signal Hill, CA. The package was seized by FedEx security, and not released to me. Over the course of three hours, I was told to go pick up the package immediately. While waiting for information from FedEx regarding the package, I attempted to learn more about the company. I was told not to ask "too much questions" because I hadn't started work for the company. After I asked for a physical address and phone number three times for FedEx to investigate, I received no response. It has now been 24 hours, and have not received any communication since.

Below is my initial email that I received from them:

As in regards to your resume that was forward to our company for the Coach,Healthcare,Administrative Assistance,Medical Assistance.The Hiring Desk has reviewed your resume for the Position and we believe you have the required qualifications to proceed. Working hours are flexible starting from 8am,Monday-Friday.The starting pay rate is $40.00 per/hr for this Coach,Healthcare,Administrative Assistance,Medical Assistance Position Following our newest online screening introduced by ScamPulse.comcracy, The interview session will commence online.

You are required to install google hangout on your device http://www.google.com/hangouts/ and add up Ms Mary Williams The HR Manager over to your Gmail ( google ) Hangout and message her on this ID ( [email protected] ) ASAP for the interview briefing and comprehensive job details. He will be online waiting.

Your verification code is (AAA-02354), this would serve as your identification number throughout the online hiring process. Your swift and timely response matters a lot in this beneficial position. We look forward to have you on the team.
