Under the guise of a large rental firm. I thought was legit and reputable. After I signed the lease and paid the security deposit I was stone walled by them. The city of ofallon required an occupancy permit to be pulled on the house and it was never done still hasn’t been done and they’re trying to get me to pay them even more money. They’re trying to have me move in to a house I can’t even put the utilities in my name. It’s been well passed the point of remedy under the lease agreement stating I can be released from the lease but they’re refusing to comply nor can I get ahold of anyone to help me resolve the situation. Anytime I try and call I get a call center not based in the U.S. talking to people who hardly speak English. This whole entire process has been an absolute nightmare.
