I needed some firewood and wanted to get some before our winter storm. I went on marketplace and there were quite a few a choices. So, I checked on prices and the business was 'Amish seasoned firewood'. We corresponded via Facebook messenger. He said that his name is Mark Johnson. The price was $75 for a truck load of wood. He said that if I wanted it stacked it would be extra. Total was $78. The wood was supposed to be delivered on 1-31-22. He wanted to be paid in gift cards. Which I figured that since it was Amish, that made sense. The first one for $78. He asked me to send the card information and the receipt. Never did it cross my mind that he was being devious. The guy was running late so I messaged him. He said that he was having truck problems. The next day he asked if I would get another gift for $50 so that he could pay the mechanic and that he would give me cash when he brought the wood. He then said that he would give me another truck load for only $50 instead of $75 for my inconvenience. I'm thinking great since I really needed wood. The wood was so supposed to be delivered on 2-3-22 at 10:30. When he was late, I messaged him, and the website was offline. This is so upsetting. I really needed that wood
