I am a Pharmacy Technician and I needed to complete 20 hours of continuing education classes. This “Tech Lecturer” aways emails stuff so I went with them. I paid $40 in order to get my CE’S. I immediately found out that I was unable to pull it up on my laptop. I emailed him and told him my problem and he said he would email me a handbook. I took time doing the CE’S and emailed him my answers and he said he would input them into the system. That sounded odd to me. In the past if you did any CE’S they would automatically populate in the NABP CPE Monitor. So, this guy that works for “Tech Lecturers” asked for my log in’s and emailed me and said he couldn’t help me. I then asked my boss if she would help me. This is going on 2 months now. Plus I was doing this because a job was waiting on me. My pharmacy boss looked at it and asked me if I would call him while we were sitting there. He never answered. I was embarrassed so I told my boss I would handle it through email. I then emailed the guy with Tech Lecturer and told him what was I supposed to do. He told me it was pretty much my fault. I have a friend that works with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy and she looked into it and she said she had never heard of it. She looked further and said, “They are NOT APCE accredited, call the ScamPulse.com and move on to another on.” So now I’ve had to move on to another website that is accredited. I would like to see if this Tech Lecturer off the market completely so they do NOT get anymore of us.
