As an IT Director, I have pretty good scamdar and spotted more red flags pretty quickly. First, as an Amazon user, I see a lot of Amazon order confirmations. They don't come from "[email protected] [email protected]" - that's enough by itself to identify this as a scam. But there's more.
Amazon's website is misspelled Amazn.com.
Order confirmation number is in a different place than usual.
View or Manage your order button looks different and the color clashes in a tacky way with the bogus looking fraud phone number button highlighted in orange.
"Your Account" , "Your Orders" and the order description are all formatted to look like they have hyperlinks - but there are no hyperlinks under them.
But aside from the bogus return address, the next most obvious red flag is the
extremely suspicious-looking notice about contacting a Fraud team if you did not place this order - which appears THREE times on the email. Ha ha ha ha.
There's also this part at the bottom: "Customers Who Bought Items in Your Order Also Bought" which has too many capitalized letters, indicating that it is written by someone not adept at the rules of English language, a common trademark of overseas scammers. At the least, Amazon corporation would not have such language errors in their order confirmation emails.
The products that others supposedly bought that are shown at the bottom to grab my attention as a shopper have no hyperlinks. ha ha
Scammers. We really need more globally-enforced laws and repercussions for these despicable slime balls. IMHO they should all be hung by their nipples in hell along with elephant killers and rapists. Curse them for taking advantage of innocent and vulnerable people like our poor mothers and hard-working Americans. Scammers are the lowest [censored] of the human race. You may wonder how they sleep at night. They sleep because they have no conscience and no goodness in their hearts. It's a sad reality that such humans crawl on the earth.

Apparently they try the outrageous price to scare people into calling the number. I can see this as a way to hack your phone, switch your mobile service provider, and get other personal info.

When I questioned as to why this order does not show up in my Amazon order history I was told that another Amazon account had been created with the email I provided which is to my Amazon account. The I was told that the account had been accessed from 3 different countries, one being in the US. He provided the house address of some property I own but couldn't tell me what were the last 4 digits of the credit card used. Really? Then he asked for a phone number that I could be reached at so MICROSOFT could contact to "clean/fix" my computer. LOL, I told him that Microsoft does NOT give a frickin darn about my computer and I don't think that you work for Amazon...CLICK, sorry sucker hung up on me...LOL...So people MICROSOFT does not care about your computer and this is another ploy for someone to call you to access your computer to steal information. Do NOT do it.
