Andor Health Reports & Reviews (16)

This scam posed itself as an employment opportunity. The check they were sending was a sign on bonus as well as for the supplies equipment and software needed for a at home position. The interview seemed legitimate. No major personal information was given out just name address phone number and email address

I got the same text and had a interview through Skype. I was told the job duties and was asked all the normal interview questions. I was waiting for the check and then was told it was returned to sender which then made me look online to see if there was any google info on Andor and fraud. I'm upset with myself but it seemed like it was real. Is this company even a real company? Or are they using their info. I'm mad that I wasted my time and was fooled and hope they get bad karma.

I applied for a number of positions one night on LinkedIn. I received an invitation via text to join the interview via Skype. The interviewer screened me for questions regarding the position and after moments of deliberation advised me I got the job. I was told to log onto Skype the next morning to be informed of a method for me to purchase equipment necessary to begin my job, which is supposed to begin the 17th of October. I received this check on the 2nd of October and was advised to deposit the check via ATM the next day. After deposit, I was told to send $500 to someone presumably from the vendor for my job via PayPal. Next, I was told to purchase two gift cards valued at $500 each. Later that same night I was asked if I can make another purchase of gift cards worth $1,000 total when I confronted the messenger via Skype. I discovered there was no presumed growth from the check I discovered, and I lost more of my money than expected. I am hesitant to proceed any further as a result.

I now have been ghosted after being told that i was hired to be a remote payroll clerk and then later I could switch to data entry and I would be paid every month.I am not sure what to make of this as there is a legit company named Andor Health. I WILL JUST HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE.I feel very skeptical.

Same situation, exact same wording, just another name. I was told to contact Margaret Graves. Text from 908-503-2650:
Hello Christina,
We reviewed your resume in regards to your application for the Data Entry Clerk(remote) Position with a pay of $25/hr. You are required to download/setup Google Hangouts or Google Chat and if you have one already, proceed by messaging the HR (Margaret Graves) through this ID ([email protected]) on Google hangout/Google Chat for the job briefing and interview process.

Spoke to Margaret who said the same thing: asked bunch of questions, sent conversation to Head Dept and got hired on. Was also advised a check would be sent to my address to purchase the equipment I needed for work. Felt uneasy about the situation so did research and found this website.

Victim Location: 81505
Scammer Phone Number: (908)-827-6965
Type of Scam: Employment

I received a text message informing me to reach out to Jessica Vincenzo on Google Chat. The email was the first red flag as it was [email protected]. I decided to proceed to make sure. They asked me to introduce myself and my location. They proceeded to "brief" me on different aspects and to reply with "Okay" after each message. Telling me the company will provide everything I need. They also gave me the company website to browse through.

Gave me a description of the job, which is almost word-for-word to a couple more listings on Linkedin:

"You will report to a data manager or another senior data team member. The company will rely on you for having accurate and updated data that are easily accessible through a digital database.

Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners

Type in data provided directly from customers

Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes

Verify data by comparing it to source documents

Update existing data"

I asked where the listing for the position was two times and didn't get it. They told me it was taken down on the company site because they received "the needed amount of applications". Then they asked me seemingly regular interview questions. Strengths and weaknesses and the like. After that they left me for ~45 minutes while they forwarded the conversation to the "Head Dept." I was offered the position and was told I would be receiving a check in the mail to purchase the working materials before I could start training.

Unfortunately, I gave them my address for the check, but that is the end of it. Be careful out there everyone.

Hi, any updates? I was just faced with the same situation you were in and now I have no idea how legitimate it was.

If you received a check. DO NO CASH IT. Contact the police immediately. especially if you sent them your data

Andor health communication through telegram. Offering data entry, customer service rep. Claimed to be sending check to get office supplies from their “vendors”, when I asked questions and wanted to speak over the phone, “Jeff Miller” erased everything but I screenshot our messages as we were communicating. Before I confronted him, I looked at the real company website (that he sent to me thinking I wouldn’t research), had no job openings matching the job the scammers are offering. Be careful, they are getting more deceiving in their approach but I knew that was too easy for someone to just send a check without verifying my identity, signing paperwork, or even seeing my face.

I thought the same thing, felt weird that they didn’t want to hear if someone had a good customer service or do a interview by zoom.

I received a text with a link after putting my resume on indeed. I spoke with the HR manager Alston Owen over telegram and was hired within minutes. They asked for my ID, email and address and said they would email me a check for Software cost. And then I checked the website and saw there was no way to contact anyone. Seems fishy to me. Do not send any information without a employment letter
SCAM?
SCAM?

You first receive a text message(see below). Then, they process a Google Hangouts interview using the email I provided above and then once the interview has been conducted they will tell you that you are hired and two email some personal information to [email protected]. Once that is completed they then set you up with a Skype meeting with your “supervisor” to complete paperwork. After doing some research of my own the Skype they listed does not match the individual that is to be known as my supervisors Skype. Also, the [email protected] is not a matching email with the real Andor Health company. All of their emails are listed as andorhealth.com. There is no ‘s’ after health in the email.
