I contacted Steve Cruze thru Facebook Marketplace as he was advertising Maine C o o n kittens. I contacted him thru Messenger, where he proceeded to show me pictures of kittens. I asked him how much they were, and he said $500. I told him I couldn't pay it all at once, and he said fine, to pay part now and the rest after I got the kitten. On 11/29, he said that he took the kitten to the shipping place. The next thing I know is that the shipping place wants to charge me for insurance if $500 to send the cat. I told them I didn't have it. I went back to the seller to tell him forget it and to refund my money. He said he just wants a good home for the cat and that if I pay the shipping company the remaining $200, he would cover the rest. I paid the $200. Next thing I know, my emails to the shipping company are going ignored and the seller's Messenger page is turned off.
