I was contacted via email by David Barclay for *** ***. He explained a job offer for modeling services in a beauty/fashion magazine. He explained that I would be paid $2,500 minus $800 wardrobe fee o since items were being custom made by Kimberly Wilson based out of Georgia. Items were to be made once K.Wilson received the $800 fee and would ship items to me in Minnesota in time for the scheduled shoot. I was sent 2 checks- each for $2,500 (amount mentioned in the email) because D.Barclay thought the original sent check got lost in mail. I deposited the first check received (check #5901, the second check which I’ve made copies of is check #5915) into my bank account. I mailed a cashiers check to K.Wilson for $800 @ 11121 South Main St #32 Blakely, GA 39823. This enraged D. Barclay, and he said the fee needed to be sent via wire to ensure the items would be made and shipped to me in time for the shoot date. The cashier’s check was voided by myself through my bank and physically returned to my address. I was then told to wire the $800 wardrobe fee via wal-mart to wal-mart service K.Wilson to stay on schedule. After delaying the shoot day (Easter, other schedule problems) I told them I was no longer interested in their offer. Since I had received "pre-payment" I was told to send the remaining amount of my payment minus $100 for the inconvenience to the same Kimberly Wilson details (totaling $2400 now). My bank informed me May 16th how the originally deposited check of $2,500 bounced and the $2,500 was pulled from my person funds, not the supposed check amount added in. The behavior and discussions with David Barclay were fairly textbook procedures for how model+talent agencies run until the outrage of the cashier check + wiring fees to K. Wilson. Other details that may help with this issue: Name listed on envelopes of checks sent were from Andrew Krause @ 205 W 57th St Apt 8BD New York, NY 10019. Info on check sent reads as 66 St Nicholas Place LLC c/o Newcastle Realty Service LLC 720 Madison Avenue, 19th Floor New York, NY 10016. Signed authorised signature isn't legible but does not appear to match the names of any previously mentioned identity. Bank info on sent check reads as Capital One Bank Private Banking 424 Madison Avenue 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10017
