I had applied for a remote work from home personal assistant position via Indeed. When I was contacted by a man named Andrew Davis instructing me to go to a website and complete a form. Shortly after completing the form and reading through his additional info I was contacted via email and text instructing me how the payment process and work process would work. He basically wanted to mail me a certified company check that I would be paid $600/week from and the remainder would be used to mail packages and then donate to a children's home but only via cashapp. It is very odd how much stress he puts on the importance of making sure this donation is made because he claims to be an adopted person. The more he communicates, the more red flags get seen that this is clearly a scam.
