Kathy then informed me to set up a Signal Messenger account for an interview. The interviewer’s name was Andrew and informed me that I had been approved for the position. He asked me for a copy of my driver’s license and informed me that I would be receiving office equipment and a check in the mail to setup office equipment. He provided me a tracking number for UPS which I attempted to track and could not be located in the system.
I received what appears to be a fake check in the mail for 7,450.00. I informed Andrew via Signal Messenger that I was not comfortable with this process and informed him I would be ripping up his check and notifying the appropriate agencies.
