I am owner of Acadian Search and Rescue based in Louisiana. We are a non profit that helps locate missing persons. I was contacted by a member stating someone is using our name to scam people. I contacted the number given (913-214-1091) and pretended to have a lost dog. They agreed to help me find him for 200$ and sent me the above email for PayPal. I have contacted every jurisdiction from AG to local PD with no help on this. I don’t want our business name tarnished and don’t want people to get scammed.
