On 09/06/23, a Factbook advertisement for a beagle puppy breeder, named Stephanie leece, offered a discounted puppy to me for 350.00, after attempting numerous methods for payment, unsuccessfully, she recommended a gift card,. I purchased an American express gift card for 350.00 and within 30 min of givin her the card info, it was used, in a colorado business. She then claimed the card wss looked and could not retrieve funds and wanted me to go back to store and get a new card. I could not, manager would not allow. I returned home and contacted her, argued back and forth for hours, then i was told the puppy will be delivered, but id have to give the agency(delivery) 1010.00 refundableinsurance fee. I could not do that. Being suspicious, i did research on this person. Stephanie leece lives in Berkley springs W.V. with contacts in Colorado. And no such person found in melbrook ala. The agency she claims to use to transport puppy, is "fast and easy" agency, located in melbrook ala. They provided me a tracking number, and had my address as the destination pending until insurance fee was paid. I did not pay this. I knew now this is a scam.and actually involved an agency, presumed legitimate, to assist her in the scam .
