this company called me on several times explaining that they would send me leads of work and they would charge me for these leads each lead would be changed for between 4 to 25$ irrespective of whether you actually make money off that lead or not as i would get to learn. so on several occasions they called me to enroll me into this lead network of techs and i told them no i can't work with this kind of bussiness model because i can't make a turnover as i don't even have enough employees! then they told me that they would give me one months of free leads and that if i didnot make any money in that time (30 days) they would not charge me they would return my money(287.99) initially given to them to be apart of this or say get enrolled which was 287.99$ After about the 20th day i realised that all these leads they were sending me were not converting, i would call the people and they would not accept or had other people already working on their projects, some were bogus, wrong numbers and other never picked completely ridiculous, so i reported this to angileads that i no longer wanted to be apart of this and that i wanted them to close me out take me off everything and stop sending me any leads. this i did on a phone call with someone an agent at 8779473639 by this time i had paused the lead about three times, because remember they claim to charge you per lead whether to converts or not it just so bogus and fraudlent.
So i am on the phone with this agent telling them how i want to close thi. get done with it, to my suprise she told me that i had a balance of about 600$ to pay this remember is in a period of about 17 to 20days including weekends! i told her i had not made a single coin on any of the leads and actually i was on the program and incentive i had been given by this guy Emmanuel Cain ( Angi Onboarding Specialist 3039632944) whereby my 287.99 dollars would be returned should i exit this riduculousness before 30 days. so in my mind i am like ok its 20 days and i have not made any thing let me go,so the lady insisted that she wanted to charge my card about 600$ and change i said no and i told her to have me talk to her supervisor so i could explain. this didnot happen.
thats when i realised this was really not what they told me there were about and that there should any minute charge my card remember it would have been on their file.i told her to close my account i went online and close the online portal too immediately called my bank and blocked any transcations and reported this company as a fraudlent company trying to remove money from my credit card indeed the bank blocked this card and company and sent me a new card i have those records. so everything was good until 2 months later or say today i get a call from CMI in PA at 6103525151 claiming that they are trying to have me pay them about 1200$ on behalf of angi leads and home advisor. I have to add this within these past two months i have been recieving wierd text, some originating from email(gmail) some number claiming to ask if iam able to to Tech work or tv installations some telling asking me to mount fans in their house others paint there homes, its been strange iam not suspicious it could have been the work of CMI.
CMI who i understood to be a debt collector was asking me to pay 1600$ and that it would only go higher and to my suprise i told the gentleman, that i was not dealing with angi leads/home advisor and that they were actually supposed to return my 287.99 $ and that they never returned it and that i closed any interactions from them and i that had no business with me, so he said well that the proper way to have closed out my account was that i should have written out a letter to them (angi leads/home advisor) asking them to close out my account i told him i was never told that and that i did tell the customer care to do it and i did close the account on my end. i added that initially angileads had told me they would make a web sitefor me so clients would find me online which they never made, that they would have an expert(onboarding agent) take me through all their onboarding process and how to work the portal, which never happened and that most importaly if i never made any money in the first 30 days i was free to leave them and close everything and they would return my 287.99
which they never returned.
If this is not fradualent or scamming then i don't know what is, your help is higly appreciated
I told them CMi guy to go to court since i didnot have any moneys owed to angi leads and told me this would go into delware Courts and that it would be more expensive for me. its just scammers, fradulent and corn-artist.
