My wife, By phone, asked to have our home cleaned. Three times the following happened:

An appointment was made by Angi, My wife drove 75 miles to meet the worker. Angi called 30 min before, cancelled, and gave a new appointment.

After the last time she said enough is enough, and canceled this work

She was charged 29.99 cancellation charge.

One year laster came another 29.99 charge.

We called the credit card company (Bank of Am) and they said they would take care of this, but advised Angi can not be trusted and we must cancel our credit card and get a new one.

Jennifer Paez started a kitchen painting and ceiling job for us and didnt show up until 1-2:30 pm. Then she only stayed 3-4 hrs. each time. She kept leading us on, saying she would be here and then didnt come. When she did work, she acted like she didnt want to be here. She caused me extreme emotional upset so I let her go. She received her supplies back but I didn't get any money back. I only asked for half of it.

I had called Angi to get help opening our pool and putting in a new pump. They said that some people from Titan aquatics could be here in a few days. I set up the appointments and the first guy showed up about 1 and 1/2 hours late. His name was Juan and he was suppose to clean and open the pool. He said he did not know who the other person was to put in the pump, but he was now a half hour late. I tried calling him but there was no answer. I left a voice message. Juan said he did not work for Titan aquatic but that he worked for Angi. He spent some time cleaning out leaves in the pool, but he did not have any chemicals to put into the pool and said he would have to come back with the chemicals. He did get most of the leaves out of the pool. I paid him $171.00 for his work. I still never heard from the guy who was suppose to put the pump in. I have since worked with Leslie's pools and they put in the new pump. Juan did come back but did not bring any chemicals with him. He used what I had left from last year and said that everything should be fine. After e few days the water was still very cloudy. I took a sample to Leslie's pool and since I have spent over 500 dollars on chemicals to get the pool clear and ready to swim. I did pay Juan another $171.00 for coming out the second time. I feel he was a scammer and did not know anything about pool cleaning or chemicals.

Completely bogus company with bogus leads. Initial setup was very poor for 'onboarding specialists' as they like to call them. Took over two weeks to successfully get things to where leads were coming in from the proper areas. Majority of leads are unresponsive, phone numbers not in service, or emails that dont exist when emails from outside the AngiPro App. Cost does not justify the ROI a small business is looking for. Uncoorperative agents on the phone who just bounce you all around and never resolve issues. Refuses to refund money for breach of contract. I should have done more due dillegence before signing up and I would have seen everything bad from both contractors and potential customers. They lie about their vetting and algorithm processes. Advise contractors to skip putting in state licensing information that is required for all advertising. They claim to be a review based service to make things work properly, but they themselves dont meet the standard they set out. Very poor example Angi sets in the service industry.

I wanted to grow my business with Angi's list. I immediately got a call from a Sales Manager with Angi to help set up my advertising and account. We talked on the phone for an hour and then he said it would be $450.00 a month for 12 months. I signed the contract and paid the $450 with my credit card. It hadn't even been 24 hours when I decided I didn't want to do it anymore. The $450 hadn't even gone through on my credit card yet. They were extremely pushy and weren't taking no for an answer. They then said that to cancel I had to pay 35% of the yearly payment which was $1,335. I hadn't even made an advertising with them yet and they wanted money to cancel something I hadn't even used yet. The Sales Manager was 45 minutes late to our scheduled meeting and kept asking me why I was changing my mind. They also didn't show a full contract of what I was getting myself into and where I could see I had to pay 35%.
