Angie leads Reports & Reviews (1)

The experience I had from begining to end was shady with this company. I was told by the person who signed me up for the program that I would be able to get lead for jobs from people who were actively looking for a contractor. I was told whenever I get a lead I have to contact the customer as soon as possible after receiving the lead. I started the service on Monday 6th and by Wednesday morning on the 8th I requested the service canceled because the program looked fraudulent. Every contact I received did not answer their phones or would not return any of the calls. A request from Angie services came up asking if I wanted to accept a lead from a customer who was on the other side actively looking for a contractor. I accepted the offer because Angie made that transaction appear as if the customer was on the her side on the pc looking for someone. After waiting like an hour Angie services said the customer had accepted my request to reach her. When I called the customer she let me know she had looked for prices for her roof about a month ago and since then she had been receiving calls from contractors continuously and she did not need that service. The next morning I immediately contacted Joshua Fisher the person who set up the account requesting him to cancel the account and return the money for setting up the acount, I had lost faith in their services and I found their leads to be very misleading. Joshua verbally tried to convince me to stay and give it more time and they would waive the leads up that point. I refused because I did not want to deal with a company I found shady. He told me he would start the cancelation process and we finished the conversation. 2 days later go by and I see Angie services tried pulling 300 and some dollars from my account without authorization. This time I texted Joshua fisher asking about how the cancelation was going and he asked me if I had called the number he had texted me. (No text was received from him after the phone call requesting to cancel the whole thing.) He tried blaming me for not calling another number to cancel. I called the number given to me and I speak with a male on Friday February 10th. I explained to him I had contacted Joshua on Wednesday of that week requesting the service to be canceled and that he had verbally told me he would start the cancelation process. This agent tried giving me options to keep the account and he had let me know they were charging me 300 and some dollars because of the leads I had received, I told him I was not paying for fraudulent services and that I wanted my money returned. He let me know he would cancel out the account. On Monday 13th I called Angie services because I had received an email saying the account was paused. When I spoke to another agent, this time a female, I was told they could not close my account because I had money left to pay them and if I did not pay them I would be sent to collections and they would not return the set up fee either. So now I am here because I do not want this place scamming people for even more money they screwed me over for. I had to change my visa card so they would not try pulling money unauthorized again.

I uploaded a picture from the text with Joshua. I did not delete anything from that conversation, I can retrieve info from carrier if needed.
